How To Beat The Dreaded Algorithm

Quit chasing the algorithm PERIOD. Better yet, just act like it simply ✨doesn’t exist✨

Listen, I understand it’s easy to feel overwhelmed & pressured to conform to specific rules to gain visibility. BUT I’m here to tell you that you don’t need to play by those rules. The ever changing algorithm is not the end all be all of success on social media, so take my advice and quit worrying about it.

Here’s what to focus on instead:

1. Authenticity Reigns Supreme: Being real and showing your passion will always attract more people than just trying to follow trends or play by someone else’s rules. Share content that is meaningful, genuine & reflects your unique perspective. Authenticity is what connects you with your audience and builds a loyal following!
2. Quality Over Quantity: Posting multiple times a day may seem like a strategy to beat the algorithm, but it will only lead to burnout and dilute the quality of your content. Focus on creating high-quality content that provides value to your audience. ONE well thought out post will outperform multiple rushed posts.
3. Less is More: It’s not about using a certain number of hashtags but using them strategically. Rather than using hashtags with millions of views, choose relevant and targeted hashtags that are specific to your post and audience. This will help your content reach the right people who are genuinely interested in what you have to offer!
4. Be YOU, Not a Trend Follower: I know it’s tempting to jump on the latest trends to gain traction, and while it’s OK to post a trending video occasionally, don’t use it as a crutch to gain followers or views. Share content that resonates with YOU, your passions, your values, and let your unique personality shine through! Don’t overthink your content. Let your authenticity set you apart from the crowd 🫶🏼
