THE OBJECTIVE:

Carrie Cariello is a three time published author, Autism Advocate, and helping families with autism from diagnosis day through post high-school launch. She has been featured on TED, The Today Show, and The Huffington Post discussing autism.

Carrie approached us with the objective of expanding her book sales and reaching a wider audience through organic social media marketing. As a self-published author, she wanted to ramp up her organic marketing efforts before her book went on pre-order to generate more buzz and ultimately more book sales. 

THE STRATEGY:

Carrie came to Müd with a robust social media following of over 60,000 followers across platforms. While we wanted to reach new people with her content, we also wanted to turn her existing followers into buyers. 

In order to do that, we devised a meticulous campaign leveraging short-form video on Instagram and Facebook.

This strategy entailed a thorough consideration of Carrie's objectives for her personal brand, culminating in the development of a tailor-made marketing strategy designed to propel her toward her sales goals. 

Subsequently, we embarked on the creative process of ideating and scripting videos for Carrie to create focusing on content that would convert her followers into buyers.

My consultation included best practices for crafting engaging hooks and captions. Conducting thorough hashtag and keyword research to further optimize the titles and captions of each video she shares.

THE RESULT:

In the initial 30-day collaboration with Müd, Carrie experienced remarkable results.

Carrie received over 8,000 pre-orders for her self-published book, Half My Sky.

Our collaboration propelled Carrie to #1 in the Motherhood category on Amazon, making her a best selling author.

At the end of our 90-day program Carrie generated over 10,000 book sales. Creating over $150,000 in revenue over the course of the program.
