Winter Layers

Giving this post a little facelift for many reasons.

1. still so obsessed with the whole look.

2. fishnets will forever be a staple in my wardrobe (layering under ripped jeans is my fav)

3. cooler temps are approaching & layering is necessary

Call me crazy, but there are so many reasons I love winter & layering clothes is definitely one of them. You can do so much more with your outfits if you layer pieces. Incorporating different patterns and textures into your outfit allows for new possibilities with your current wardrobe while keeping you warm and cozy.

With this look, I layered a black turtle neck (always a staple in my winter wardrobe), my mom’s vintage Levi’s jacket, this beautiful wool poncho (I bought it years ago so unfortunately, it’s not available, but I linked a ton of similar options), a velvet skirt, some fishnets, and the obvious shoe choice- black booties. You could definitely throw some OTK boots on with this look as well!
