Dressing Up Denim

If I had to choose one item in my closet to wear for the rest of my life, I would pick jeans. But not your usual blue denim jeans. I would pick black, MID RISE (that’s important) Levi’s from Stage. Not only do they go with anything, but you can dress them up A TON, or kick it super casual.

Dress up black jeans with a silky blouse and killer boots like I did here or throw on a tee and sneakers for a more laid back look!

You really can’t go wrong either way!

Can I just quickly say that black jeans should be considered business casual. I mean, they look just as nice as dress pants, but they are actually cute, comfortable & look just as professional.

Not only should black jeans be a staple in your wardrobe but they don’t have to break the bank either. This pair of Levi’s from Stage was just $35. Ok, going to scream that from the rooftops because that is such a freaking deal.

Stage has the best selection of Levi’s (my personal fav) and so many other great denim brands to choose from. All rises and washes you can think of, they’ve got it. If you’re going for a more classic look, I would choose a dark or black was with a mid-rise, because they keep you pulled in and are so flattering to all body types. If you’re going for more of a laid-back look, my go-to’s are a boyfriend fit or distressed and still sticking with the mid-rise.
