Alright fam, I spent 12 hours in a car this weekend, which is normally when I catch up on all the podcasts I love and realized I’ve never shared my favs with you!
First of all, if you aren’t listening to podcasts, you need to get on it ASAP. There is a podcast for everyone no matter what your interests are and they are so amazing.
Below I’m sharing my favorite most binge-worthy podcasts on the world wide web
Two Cali girls talk about just what the title says, Murder. Every week they each pick a murder and talk about it. For a subject that is truly tragic, they do make light of each terrible situation and make me laugh so hard.
I’ve been binging on this podcast for about a year now, and it is my absolute favorite out of all the podcasts I listen to. In fact, I listened to 8 episodes this past weekend… No shame.
It has made me hyper-aware of my surroundings though. Well, more aware than I already am, and I have a mini freak out anytime someone comes to my house unexpectedly or anything like that especially if I’m home alone.
2. Serial
This was the first podcast I ever listened to, and I was hooked after that. Note, I’ve only listened to season one and it was fantastic. Truly fascinating and the host digs super deep into the facts and evidence of the case.
Going to start season two soon & will report back with my thoughts!
3. Criminal
Each episode of this podcast is different. Some are from the perspective of the criminal and others from the perspective of the victim. I love that you don’t have to listen to this in order. You can choose one that catches your eye or sounds interesting.
4. The Popcast with Knox and Jamie
The ultimate pop-culture podcast on the planet. Their tagline… “Seeking to educate on things that entertain but do not matter.” I am so here for that tagline.
Knox and Jamie offer a fresh and hilarious perspective on all things pop culture. They discuss everything from fake politicians, how to correctly kill off a character in a TV show, conspiracy theories, celeb news. Basically all the important stuff. I have to say, I am pretty invested and up to date on all things pop culture and some of the things they talk about blows my mind.
A must listen if you need a pop culture update and/or a good laugh!
Another true crime podcast.
If you’re a real true crime fan, then you know all about Elizabeth Short or the Black Dahlia. To this day, Elizabeth Short’s murder remains the most infamous unsolved case in history. But what people don’t know is that multiple women died of the same circumstances in LA around the same time as the Black Dahlia. Hollywood and Crime investigate these other cases and finds new evidence as to how they are all connected.
I am so fascinated by the Black Dahlia case and who could have killed her. I also really like this one because it’s also like a mini history lesson. It talks about all the crazy things that were happening in Los Angeles around that time.
There you have it… My favorite binge-worthy podcast to date.
